True story: when I was shopping my first novel, my nephew wanted all of our family to see a psychic. It was his birthday present. I would never have done it, but for beloved nephew, I did. This psychic was cool, using fantasy drawings to express what she saw, and she told me my life was about to change in a big way.

Sold the novel that year. Way-mazing.
