Plumber..

So, I asked my husband to get our downstairs water heater fixed for Christmas. Our regular plumber showed up this morning (45 minutes early) and had it fixed in under an hour, I think. $85. We really like this plumber. He does a great job, and doesn't fix things that don't need fixing. That's nice. ;o)

Reviewer? What a shock! Seems to me that much of the 'staff' at one place just picked up and went to the other...

Yeah, when Eugie got dismissed from Tangent it was the best thing that could've happened to us. It's really the same deal, just a better one at The Fix. I like the new format better, but really it's just working with her that's the real treat. I think I'd follow her into the fiery depths of hell, if she asked me.hee

Oh, that was just my way of saying one of my assignments is the pirate issue. ;)

This is what I really look like, btw.

For some reason, people never really look like their pictures to me, so you'll have to introduce yourself someday anyway. ;o)

The fiery depths of helll....hmmmm...

I'll keep an eye out for your review. I don't want to say anything to bias you about a story you're doing a review on, so I'd better shut up!

If you ever see me at a con I'll be the one flying through the bar with a piece of cheese in my mouth.

Yeah, I'll shut up too. Just thought I owed you a heads up. I did like the story. :)

Good, that's a relief. I won't ask about the chese! (Unless it's just a mouse thing)

[identity profile] marshall-payne.livejournal.com 2007-12-02 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Ask. Yeah, it's just a mouse thing. Just relating to when I was a tot and it seemed the mouse and cheese motif ran rampant in cartoons. Late 50s and early 60s. There were lots of mice on afternoon television back then. Pixie and Dixie. Remember them? A Hanna-Barbera cartoon. And Jinksy the cat always going "I hates them meeces to pieces!" *g*

This pic is what I wouldn't mind looking like if I'd been a famous English pop star with good cred in the intelligensia rock community. Another missed opportunity. sigh

All too many of those in life.... ;o)
